The Court of Cassation in its session on Monday, 10th June 2019, rejected the appeal of the citizens and supported the judgements of the Criminal Court of the life imprisonment against 22 (present) and 21 (in absentia), rigorous imprisonment against 17 more (present), 10 years of rigorous imprisonment against 54 (present) and 13 ( in absentia), and 10 years (in absentia) for 88 others. The charges are demonstrating and committing subversive acts in the case known as the “events of Al-Fath Mosque”.
