‘Aisha Al-Shater’ continues her hunger strike in Al-Qanatir prison

‘Aisha Khairat Al-Shater’ continues her hunger strike in protest of the abuses she has suffered since her arrest in November 2018, where she has been subjected to enforced disappearance for 20 days, held in solitary confinement since being transferred to Qanater prison, and prevented from seeing her three children for 10 months.

Her husband, the detained lawyer, ‘Mohamad Abu Huraira’, said that his wife’s psychological and moral torture was due to her father’s political activity, and that she suffered a significant deterioration in her health and lost the half of her weight.

Justice for Human Rights foundation-JHR condemns the violations practiced against detainee ‘Aisha Al-Shater’, and also calls for stopping them immediately, and providing her with her legal rights of visit, health care, and fair trial.
