مؤسسة حقوقية مستقلة غير حكومية لا تهدف إلي الربح ، تهتم بالشأن المصري وهي في هذا تنطلق من الواجب المُلقى على عاتقها في JHR LOGO3 copyوضع “حالة حقوق الإنسان في مصر” أمام الرأي العام الداخلي والخارجي، “سواء الرسمي منها أو الشعبي”، بشكلٍ جلي، وفق المعاهدات والمواثيق الدولية المعنية بهذا الأمر، لوقف الانتهاكات، والعمل على منع مجرمي الانتهاكات من الإفلات من العقاب ، حتى ينعم الإنسان المصري بحياةٍ كريمةٍ، تحافظ على كرامته وحريته وتعمل في سبيل تحقيق ذلك وفق الآليات القانونية المحددة بهذا الشأن.
