The Egyptian Interior Ministry announced in a statement that its forces killed 12 citizens in the cities of 6th October in Giza and El-Sherooq in Cairo, where the ministry claimed it was in an exchange of fire after its forces attempted to arrest the citizens.
JHR condemns the arbitrary killing of the Egyptian citizens, calls on the Egyptian authorities to stop the policy of extrajudicil killings of the citizens, and also calls on the public prosecutor to open an urgent investigation into the killing incidents and bring the preparators to justice.
