3 Journalists are detained for allegedly publishing false news

The Supreme State Security Prosecution sentenced 15 journalists to 15 days in detention pending investigations, alleging that they published false news. They were arbitrarily arrested along with 3 others from a café in Dokki, Giza Governorate. Their names are:
1- Sulafa Magdy
2- Hossam El-Sayed
3- Mohamed Salah

Justice for Human Rights foundation-JHR condemns the arbitrary arrests and the fabrication of the charges against the citizens, and calls for the immediate and unconditional release of them, and for the cessation of the abuse against journalists and the abuse of the right to freedom of opinion and expression in Egypt by the Egyptian authorities and their security services.
