Justice for human rights foundation-JHR has received distress messages from the families of the detainees in the lockup of the police station ‘second’ in Zaqaziq, as the prison administration has verbally and physically assaulted them, and transferred 10 citizens to unknown place, on Saturday 31st August 2019, after the detainees contested arresting 3 women during the visit because of refusing the inhumane and degrading inspection.
JHR condemns the violations practiced against the detainees inside the lockups and calls for stopping them immediately, and accountability for those responsible.
