On Monday, 20th May 2019, Justice for Human Rights foundation-JHR had reported the death of detainee Rajab Fathi as a result of medical negligence and poor medical care. The prison administration also was obstinate and didn’t inform his family until they knew about his death from the wife of another detainee.
JHR condemns the murder b medical negligence of the detainee and calls on the Public Prosecutor to investigate the incident and to ensure the accountability of those responsible.
