Student ‘Mohamed Shehata’ still forcibly disappeared, Sharqya.

Justice for Human Rights foundation-JHR has monitored the ongoing enforced disappearance of the student ‘Mohamed Mahmoud Shehata’, as he was arrested from the police station of Abu Kbeer district in Sharqya, on 1st May, 2018, after being acquitted, and then was taken to an unknown place.

He was arrested once before on 2nd February, 2017, and remained forcibly disappeared for 35 days, then he appeared at the Supreme State Security Prosecution, and the court decided to release him on 12th April, 2018.

JHR condemns the enforced disappearance of the student, calls on revealing his whereabouts and releasing him immediately, and also affirms that the Egyptian authorities are fully responsible for his safety.
